Female entrepreneurs can advertise businesses on Underground for £100

MicroLoan Foundation offering female-led companies chance to purchase a tube poster with donation going to help women in sub-Saharan Africa

Female entrepreneurs have the opportunity to promote their businesses on the London Underground for just £100 as part of a new initiative led by finance charity the MicroLoan Foundation.

Open to all female-run companies and start-ups, the ‘Buy a poster, Build a business’ campaign will enable women to purchase a poster advert – designed by advertising agency DLKW Lowe – which will run at one “prime” London tube station for a whole month in return for a minimum £100 tax-deductable charitable donation.

The donation will go towards helping women in Malawi and Zambia to work themselves out of poverty with loans to help them start a business.

MicroLoan have 200 posters available with a total media value of £20,000, businesses can purchase more than one poster (for an increased donation) but cannot choose which underground station posters will appear at.

The posters will go up across the tube network on July 5, click here to purchase a poster to advertise your business on the tube.
