Female entrepreneurs invited to apply for 2014 NatWest everywoman Awards

12th year of awards to celebrate UK’s “enterprising female stars”

Applications for the 2014 NatWest everywoman Awards have opened this week with five category titles on offer for female entrepreneur “stars” of all ages.

Now in its 12th year, the awards aims to support female enterprise and celebrate the achievements of the UK’s leading female business owners with previous winners including Kelly Hoppen MBE, Jo Malone MBE, and Hilary Devey CBE.

The five award categories comprise of four titles according to age as well as a specialist category, Iris, for the “most inspirational and successful” female founder of a disruptive tech business.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at The Dorchester Hotel in London on December 3.

everywoman co-founder, Maxine Benson, said: “We aim to show the development of businesses from the hungry start-ups fuelled by passion and determination through to mature, global organisations that make significant contributions to the economy and employment.

“We have identified that role models are crucial in their influence of women making decisions about their professional future and these awards are important in highlighting success stories and inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs.”
