Festival booking site Festicket clinches $6.3m Series B funding
Live music fan community has received investment from Lepe Partners and PROfounders to grow its user base and become a global brand
Festicket, an early-stage festival travel booking site, has raised $6.3m Series B funding in a round led by Lepe Partners alongside Wellington Partners, PROfounders, and Playfair Capital.
Founded in 2012, Festicket allows festival-goers to find and book packages for festivals with accommodation and other add-ons. The site features more than 500 festivals across 40 countries via its network of 1,000 suppliers.
The company claims it currently has a community of over 900,000 users, and generates two million unique monthly visitors.
The finance will be used to grow Festicket’s live music fan community, supplier base and brand around the world.
Zack Sabban, co-founder and CEO of Festicket, commented: “Over the last two years, we grew our revenue by 425% on average year-on-year and went from a nice little player in the music festival industry to be clearly — and by a long run — Europe’s largest online platform for music festival experiences.”
