Franchise Daisy First Aid gears up for nationwide expansion
14 months since launch, the chain has already attracted 21 franchisees and now wants more entrepreneurs to take up its teaching opportunities
Daisy First Aid, an early-stage franchise which offers first-aid classes, has announced that it is recruiting franchisees nationally having achieved strong growth across the South East.
Launched 14 months ago by Jenni Dunman after “realising that many parents don’t have the first aid knowledge to save their child’s life”, Daisy First Aid’s franchisees host bite-size paediatric first aid classes in homes or venues.
These classes are designed specifically for parents and those who work with children such as dance teachers, soft play staff and scout leaders.
Since launch, the chain has already recruited 21 franchisees and now wants to expand further. Dunman has said that the franchise is suited to “mothers looking for a flexible business that can work around busy family life” but notes that they “do of course” have franchisees that don’t have children and are open to “bring men on board”.
Franchise packages are available for £5,995+ VAT which includes a three day training course at its headquarters in Epsom, Surrey.
On its franchise opportunities, Daisy First Aid’s Dunman commented:
“Previous first aid or teaching experience is preferable however it is more important that we find people who will bring fun and vibrancy to our classes and who will work hard within the Daisy First Aid team to build the brand and maintain our fantastic reputation.

“I know that even basic, easy to learn first aid can absolutely save lives and I want every parent to have this knowledge. The aim of the business is to provide parents with essential knowledge and confidence without the fear factor. I’d love for Daisy First Aid to become a must-do class for parents and a household name.”
Kerry Kirkby, a franchisee from Christchurch, added:
“The support and flexibility that comes with this franchise really appealed to me. I absolutely love my job and have met some great people, many of who I now call my friends.”
