Just Eat and Deliveroo to speak at first Ready. Set. Scale. conference in March

One day event will give attendees the chance to network with other start-ups and investors, and cover everything from marketing to fintech trends

The first ever Ready. Set. Scale. conference is to take place in London on Tuesday 6 March 2018, with speakers from some of the UK’s best-known start-ups and investors including Deliveroo, Just Eat, Monzo Bank, and Jam Jar Investments.

The one-day event will be held at the Central Westminster Hall and give attendees the chance to network with other companies and with high-profile investors from across the whole spectrum of investment levels.

The speakers will cover a range of topics including marketing your business, acquiring customers, and the latest trends in financial technology (fintech).

JamJar Investments’ Katie Marrache will hold a Q&A on ‘what investors really want’ while Just Eat’s head of insight, Rufus Weston, will tell the story of how the company went from start-up to unicorn.

You’ll also have the chance to hear from Monzo Bank’s community manager Naji Esiri, who will discuss building a community-focused bank, and the founder of Many Minds, Kirsty Hulse, will offer advice on using PR and content to acquire customers.

Snoozle founder Phil Neale will also be in attendance – to tell start-ups how to nail a crowdfunding campaign – as well as the head of partnerships at Tide Banking, Dan Houghton, director of analytics at Deliveroo Ela Osterberger, and Partner at GJE Peter Arrowsmith.

Additionally, there will be two to three hours worth of networking available on the day with high-profile investment firms attending; “all of which are on the hunt for the next start-up to invest their fund in”.

Those interested in attending the conference should be quick to get their tickets as the exclusive event only has limited spaces available.
