Former accountant takes up SureCare franchise opportunity

Keith Hume to operate Merseyside territory as care chain ramps up national franchise recruitment drive

Care services franchise SureCare has expanded to Merseyside following the signing of latest franchisee Keith Hume, with plans to attract further aspiring entrepreneurs to its UK network.

A former chartered management accountant, Hume decided to become a franchisee for the care provider after finding that there was “a gap in Merseyside for high quality, innovative care” and now intends to have a team of up to 20 full and part-time staff in place by early 2015.

Established in 1994, SureCare’s range of services for elderly people and children spans home care; making beds, laundry, shopping etc., companionship; attending hospital appointments, collecting pensions etc, and childcare which includes babysitting, nanny and au pair along with mobile crèche facilities.

It currently operates 28 franchises and three branches across the UK and is looking for people interested in either becoming a full franchisee or, if you have a budget of less than £10,000, a SureCare Local micro franchisee which covers a smaller territory.

Discussing the SureCare franchise opportunity, Hume said:

“I was impressed by SureCare’s approach to developing and delivering care and home services. The company recognises that people’s requirements are changing all the time and that there is a need to provide a comprehensive range of services to meet those needs throughout life’s journey.”
