Exhibition to attract entrepreneurs into franchising runs for consecutive year
A UK exhibition to showcase the country’s franchise opportunities, Franchise Opportunities Live 2013, has re-launched to support individuals looking to go into franchising.
The event, which is taking place at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel in Heathrow on September 6 and September 7, will give potential franchisees the chance to discuss available options and receive first-hand advice from established franchisees and franchisors.
Now in its second year, the exhibition gives visitors the chance to meet with franchises from a range of industries and established franchises such as McDonald’s, Driver Hire and Caremark.
Prospective franchisees will be pre-booked into one-to-one meetings with franchises that suit their skills, interests and budget and will be able to attend seminars hosted by franchise businesses on a series of topics.
The British Franchise Association (bfa), who is supporting the event, will present seminars covering all aspects of franchising and there will be a high investment franchise panel providing guidance from headline sponsors Platinum Property Partners, Sign a Rama, Mail Boxes Etc and Papa John’s.
There is also a dedicated space at the event, the ‘Finance Clinic’, to enable prospective franchisees to get financial advice from consultants in a confidential setting as well as a networking area, the ‘Franchise Hub’.
Organised by the Venture Marketing Group, the show seeks to attract budding entrepreneurs into franchising as Adrian Goodsell, franchise exhibition manager of the Group, commented:
