London South Bank University launches free small business accelerator

12-week Momentum programme will provide 60 entrepreneurs with an individual mentor, workshops, resources and networking events

Business owners have the opportunity to gain free dedicated mentoring and advice with entries now open for London South Bank University’s (LSBU) new accelerator programme.

Momentum, which will run for 12 weeks, will support 60 entrepreneurs across two cohorts – the first of which commences on March 14 and the second on May 16.

Delivered by the Research, Enterprise and Innovation department at LSBU, successful applicants will each be assigned to a mentor and will have access to workshops, networking events, and multimedia online learning resources.

Each member of the programme will also receive training across a range of areas including business planning and forecasting, efficiency management, digital marketing, and leadership.

Gurpreet Jagpal, director of Research, Enterprise and Innovation at LSBU, said of the accelerator:

“LSBU is committed to fostering growth for the UK’s small and medium-sized businesses. This programme will take business-leaders on a journey that will prepare them for investment, expansion, and the rigours of running a successful business in an ever-changing economic landscape.”
