Backed by Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich, the proptech start-up has also acquired London and Paris-based competitor Easy Rental Services

GuestReady, a proptech start-up that helps Airbnb owners manage their properties, has raised £2.3m and relocated its headquarters to London.

Led by Impulse VC (backed by Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich), with participation from Xponova and Boost Heroes, the funding round also inlcuded existing investors Swiss Founders Fund and Senn & Partners.

Currently operating in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, the start-up will use the fresh injection of funds to launch in two more UK cities and “a few more global cities” by summer 2018.

Launched in August 2016, GuestReady has over 600 apartments in its portfolio, serving over 20,000 travellers from 120 countries to date.

Initially launching as an on-demand platform for individual activities like cleaning, laundry, and managing the check-in and check-out of guests, GuestReady now focuses exclusively on fully managed properties that they advertise on short-let platforms like Airbnb, HomeAway, and Booking, among others.

As well as its funding news, the start-up has also announced its acquired London and Paris-based competitor Easy Rental Services.

Alexander Limpert, CEO and co-founder, highlights that GuestReady’s aim is to become a strategic partner to each of its clients:

“The success of our clients and the satisfaction of their guests is of prime importance to us.

“In order to provide an even better service to our clients, we are also very happy to announce that this summer, we have completed the acquisition of Easy Rental Services.

“Since its launch three years ago, the company has developed operational excellence in its home markets London and Paris.”
