Headspace Group to open up additional flexible work space at Farringdon office

Chance for media and technology start-ups to work alongside likes of Buzzfeed and Move Guides

Co-working space provider Headspace Group, listed among the top 100 start-ups of 2014, has announced plans to develop a further 4,000 sq. ft. of office space at its Farringdon site to help support more start-ups and entrepreneurs in the creative, media and technology industries.

Launched in August 2013 by property entrepreneur Jonny Rosenblatt, the Headspace Group looks to provide young businesses with a “modern, stylish working environment” and is now home to over 25 small and medium companies; its members have included Buzzfeed, Move Guides, and the London School of Photography.

The Group had previously owned a few floors of the building at 19-21 Hatton Garden and recently added an event space in the lower ground floor to act as a hub for networking events, seminars, product launches and other related initiatives.

It will now be leasing out the entire building and its likely that tenancy will fill out quickly after it reached full capacity just five months after its launch.

Headspace’s Rosenblatt commented: “Our model is clearly resonating with the market and I’m delighted that we are continuing to expand in order to meet demand. Having only recently launched our new space in November – more than doubling our square footage in the process – we’re excited to now be developing the top and final floor of the building!”
