Heritage Healthcare celebrates first year of franchising

Care service chain now has a network of 12 franchisees across the UK and recently held its inaugural AGM

Heritage Healthcare has celebrated its first year as a franchise having achieved steady growth since its foray into franchising in December 2014.

Established in 2008 by Glenn and Sally Pickersgill, Darlington-based Heritage Healthcare is a home-based care service provider and claims to have achieved “unprecedented success”.

Now with 12 franchisees across the UK, the group marked its success by holding its first AGM and conference earlier this month and is hoping to continue its expansion with opportunities available nationwide.

Eligible franchisees don’t need to have care experience as the group provide training, alongside marketing assistance and ongoing support.

Heritage Healthcare managing director, Glenn Pickersgill, commented:

“Our team of directors have worked meticulously for the past three years to get to this stage, and we’re incredibly proud to have held our first annual general meeting and conference.

“It was lovely to have so many of our franchisees together and I hope that our franchisees were able to learn as much from the guest speakers’ as we did.”
