Imaginative entrepreneurs to earn image library credits

Seasonal competition boasts £1,000 prize pool

Two creative resources have united to launch a competition for imaginative entrepreneurs.

Stock image provider Bigstock and digital printing firm printed.com are using new social media platform Pinterest to ask entrepreneurs to share the image or design they would like to see printed onto an Easter egg.

The seasonal competition, which is open until April 2, follows a showcase of more than 200 custom-designed Faberge Easter eggs across London last month.

All entrants will receive £10 in stock image credit and the innovator behind the winning design will be awarded £300 in stock image credit and a £300 digital printing voucher.

They will be chosen by the number of ‘likes’ their design has amassed at the end of the final week and announced on April 10. Four runners-up will also be selected, each receiving £100 worth of free printing and stock imagery.
