Innocent Drinks’ co-founder set to share cashflow and sales secrets at nationwide events

Startups partners with Barclays to provide free business-boosting seminars in 10 UK locations

Startups can confirm that Innocent Drinks’ co-founder Adam Balon will be the keynote speaker at Barclays’ Ignite Business Growth seminars.

The latest series of UK-wide events, this time focused on delivering great cash-flow management and sales strategy tips, will once again run in partnership with Startups, Growing Business and My Business.

Taking place on Tuesday November 20 and Thursday November 22, each event will feature practical insights from local entrepreneur guest speakers, as well as co-founder of Innocent Drinks Adam Balon and managing director of Business Banking, Sue Hayes via satellite link-up.

Balon, who returns by popular demand, will appear live on stage at the main events in Manchester and London across both days, revealing how he and co-founders Richard Reed and Jon Wright rescued the company from a cash-flow disaster and the strategy the company has employed to boost sales since the trio left successful city jobs to launch in 1998.

Hosted by news broadcaster Lucy Alexander, who has regularly appeared on Sky and ITV for many years, the seminar will simultaneously launch at eight other regions across the UK, where Balon and other entrepreneurs will be broadcast via a live satellite TV stream.

Each region will also have the chance to network with other owners of small and growing businesses, and be involved with an interview and audience Q&A session with a local entrepreneur.
