InstallTracker secures $1m to fund mobile advertising tracking

Investment will be used to grow team of developers and accelerate product development

Mobile advertising tracking and app analytics start-up InstallTracker has raised $1m to launch a new platform for “reliable and more accurate” mobile analytics for developers and consumers.

The London-based platform was founded by Russian-born entrepreneur Dmitry Eremeev and enables app developers and advertisers to receive real-time tracking analytics – as well as access to a unique Bot Activity Scanner which helps reveal any suspicious use of apps.

InstallTracker uses the SDK (Software Developer Kit), which tracks the initial launch and re-launches automatically thereafter. The programmers install a special event identifier for customised events, such as the making of an in-app payment or the leveling up of a game.

The funds will be used for product development, including InstallTracker for agencies, to help marketeers track the effectiveness of their campaigns. It will also expand its team of developers and open a 24/7 support service.

InstallTracker’s Eremeev commented: “We are delighted to receive this financial support at such an early stage of our platform development. This gives us the opportunity to implement our ambitious plans and ideas.

“The mobile apps market has never been as competitive as it is now and our platform helps developers and owners to make their investment decisions smarter and risk averse. We hope to set a new standard for those who want to see the real picture of how their mobile ad campaigns are performing”.
