Internet of Things accelerator Breed Reply launches second initiative

Entries now open for Best in Breed 2 which looks to support start-ups with innovative challenges to IoT and wearables

An advanced incubator to fund and support the growth of Internet of Things (IoT) start-ups, Breed Reply,  is launching a second tranche to find the most innovative ideas in the sector – IoT Best In Breed 2.

This follows its first incubator members earlier this year which included UK security tech start-up Cocoon, as well as Italian assistive technology start-up Braincontrol and Dutch energy consumption analysis company Greeniant.

Breed Reply is looking for businesses with innovative solutions to challenges in the IoT and wearable technology sectors and expects to build on the success of its  first programme which received applications from more than 130 start-ups around the world, with 80% of those from Europe.

Emanuele Angelidis, Breed Reply CEO, commented: “Our goal is to identify new ideas in the IoT that meet real market needs and are able to create value in the long term. Our role is to support the start-ups and help them accelerate their entry and growth in the market.

“The best start-ups become part of our programme, which. in addition to funding, provides a transfer of entrepreneurial, managerial and technological skills and a strong involvement in developing solid foundations in their target markets.”
