Invenias secures $1.5m in deal led by MMC Ventures
Investment in executive search software platform to drive further international expansion
Global software solutions provider, Invenias has secured $1.5m investment led by venture capital fund MMC Ventures, it announced today.
Launched in 2005, the Reading-based software company provides search organisations and recruitment firms in over 30 countries with a cloud-based executive search platform which improves the quality and efficiency of search assignments.
With additional backing from several private investors including Eden Ventures founder, Mark Farmer, it intends to use the investment to boost the growth of its product development and expand its international market presence.
The announcement follows recent growth for the software business having appointed new employees to its marketing and sales department and having launched a new cloud mobile app ‘Outlook Easy’ for iPhone and iPad earlier this year.
CEO, chairman and co-founder of Invenias, David Grundy commented: “We are delighted we have obtained investment from MMC Ventures and Mark Farmer, whose investment pedigree provides the company with not only capital, but also enormous experience and expertise, and represents a huge vote of confidence in the future of Invenias.”
Jon Coker, investment partner at MMC Ventures added: “MMC specialises in backing UK businesses that have the potential to succeed on a global scale and Invenias has already shown this to be true.”
