James Caan partners with artwork publishing franchise

Ex-Dragon’s business advisory team marks first foray into publishing world with Cornwall-based Whistlefish Galleries

Business advisory firm HB Prime Advantage, led by ex-Dragon James Caan, has announced the addition of artwork publishing franchise Whistlefish Galleries to its portfolio.

Established in 1996 on the back of a Prince’s Trust loan to founder and designer Lynn Thompson, Whistlefish sells original art cards and prints across its 11 franchise outlets in the South-West of England.

Each design sold is created by Whistlefish’s in-house publishing team and the company claims it gives opportunities to talented local artists whilst keeping prices low for its customers.

Caan’s team will provide insight, resources and expertise to the franchise as it seeks to become the leading retailer and publisher of art cards and prints in the South-West region.

HB Prime Advantage’s franchise expert Brian Farrugia will join the Whistlefish board as part of the deal.
