Win equity investment from a £1.8m Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS), as well as media coverage and business support from an experienced investor

The UK’s largest ever seed funding has returned for January 2017, giving early-stage start-ups the chance to secure up to £150,000 in equity investment from a £1.8m Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS).

The Start-Up Series gives one company every month the opportunity to win funding and extensive media coverage across Startups.co.uk, as well as business support from competition partner Worth Capital.

To be eligible, you must be a UK registered business and a UK resident over 18. Your business must have been in operation for 21 months or less, have fewer than £200,000 in gross assets and fewer than 25 employees.

The next stage of the competition will require you to submit a detailed business plan and take part in a video interview with Worth Capital who will choose the winner.

Applications for this month’s competition will be open from today until Saturday January 14. View the competition timeline here.
