JNA acquired by Erinaceous

John Nolan Associates Ltd (JNA), the engineering consultancy company, has been acquired by the Erinaceous Group for £12.6m.

JNA, based in Birmingham, has around 60 employees and has an annual turnover of around £5.5m.

The company, founded by its namesake in the early 1990s, operate in a range of sectors and say they have an order book in excess of £17m.

The Erinaceous Group, the one-stop-shop property services firm, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange said the acquisition would ‘provide considerable synergies’ with its current portfolio.

Neil Bellis, chief executive officer of Erinaceous, said: “We are well on the way to becoming a genuine national force in property services as each year we win new contracts and expand not only organically but also by acquiring teams, people and specialist practises that complement the group’s range of activities.”

John Nolan, JNA director and founding partner, said: “We pride ourselves on our relationship with clients and contractors in the structural and consulting engineering sector.

“We have worked closely with many of the Group’s trading subsidiaries in the past and look forward to bringing our ‘hands-on’ approach to design to Erinaceous.

“Just as importantly, we are excited to be gaining the support of Erinaceous for our future expansion plans.”
