Kelly Hoppen MBE on search to find Britain’s top creative entrepreneurs
Dragons’ Den star is supporting 2015 Britain’s Top Real Role Model competition
Ex Dragons’ Den investor Kelly Hoppen MBE is on the hunt to find Britain’s most inspiring creative entrepreneurs – ‘passionpreneurs’ – for the fifth Britain’s Top Real Role Model competition.
Ran by Amway UK, the annual initiative looks to support and celebrate entrepreneurship and is open to individuals who have launched a commercial venture that has been inspired by a hobby, passion or interest.
Shortlisted finalists will be judged by a panel of leading names, including Hoppen, with the winner granted a cash prize of £5,000 to go towards growing their business.
Hoppen commented: “It can be difficult to take the first step as an entrepreneur but it is also an exciting time of self-discovery when you achieve what you once thought was impossible.
“Personally, there is a real resonance with Britain’s Top Real Role Model’s ‘Passionpreneur’ theme. My own interior design business started because of my passion for design. Businesses created off the back of a hobby or a passion tends are often the ones which goes to succeed!”
Britain’s Top Real Role Model closes on August 7 2015.
