Kitchen retailer Dream Doors ramps up recruitment drive with new franchise couple

Lisa and Stuart Hewitt expand franchise network with Maidstone showroom

Leading UK kitchen “makeover” franchise Dream Doors has announced the addition of two new franchisees, husband and wife duo, Lisa and Stuart Hewitt.

Owners of its new Maidstone outlet, the Hewitt’s decided to join the refurbishment brand believing that, after years spent as business owners, Dream Doors would “get [them] going far faster than [they] could on [their] own.”

With the official launch last Thursday by Maidstone mayor, Clive English, the new Kent showroom forms part of the chain’s wider goal to expand its UK network.

A finalist in the bfa’s 2013 Franchisor of the Year Awards, Dream Doors says it is the UK’s “largest kitchen facelift” fitter with showrooms across the country.

It has franchise packages available for a fee of £23, 825 + VAT with an additional £50,000 required for working capital but says its management operation can be operated from home for the first six months while sourcing retail premises.

Existing franchises are also available for purchase in Stockport, East Midlands and East Sussex ranging from £50,000 to £150,000.

Stuart Hewitt discussed his new venture: “Lisa and I are Kent locals, and we know what this concept will bring to homes in the area.

“We have the best pre-showroom turnover in the network – and that includes December – so I forecast at least half-a-million pounds of sales this year.”
