Europe’s 25 Corporate Startup Stars winner creates new opportunities by offering stronger connections
With strong networks of corporate partners and start-ups, professional services company KPMG is ideally placed to connect early-stage businesses with clients looking for new products and services.
Through KPMG Tech Growth, they host a variety of initiatives and events, including pitching sessions and their annual ‘Best British Mobile Startup Competition.’
KPMG’s work as an informal ‘connector’ is especially interesting. An example of this is their strategic alliance with the software provider Xero to offer start-ups affordable accountancy services. An advisory partnership, with matchmaking platform Matchi, is also helping to connect KPMG’s largest clients with the “right fintech.”
