Opportunity to join 12-week start-up accelerator with access to high-growth business training, mentoring and capital

Digital and technology start-ups are being invited to apply to join the 10th semester of the Accelerator Academy; the 12 week programme which looks to support and fund fast-growth potential businesses.

The Farringdon-based start-up accelerator provides entrepreneurs with a package of business training, mentoring and funding and has backed 83 businesses to date including Frugl, Fluentify and Twizoo.

Backed by the Mayor of London’s office, BIS, UKTI and the European Commission, the accelerator is looking to build on its success to date having seen 83% of its alumni go on to raise over £12m in seed and Series A funding collectively.

Entries for the 10th wave of the programme close on January 4 2015, with the programme kicking off on Monday 12 January and culminating with an investor pitch day on Wednesday 25 March.

Accelerator Academy founder and White Horse Capital founder, Ian Merricks, commented:

“While the London technology scene has been booming for some time, it certainly feels now like the early-stage ecosystem is beginning to come of age. There is so much entrepreneurial talent out there, and we’re proud of the work […]the Accelerator Academy is doing mentoring and helping shape some truly great businesses.”
