Lawn care franchise TruGreen welcomes West Yorkshire recruit

Addition of experienced franchise owner Darren White to support expansion of garden maintenance chain

Nationwide lawn care chain TruGreen has ramped up its franchise drive with the addition of new franchisee Darren White to its West Yorkshire territory.

An existing franchisee for parcel delivery group DPD, White has joined the garden maintenance franchise following the death of its former owner Bob Anderson who purchased the territory with his wife Anne in 2004.

White intends to “build upon” the success of Anderson’s operations and plans to bring on new staff to grow the business.

An arm of national franchisor ServiceMaster Ltd, TruGreen specialises in professional garden and lawn maintenance services and has several franchise opportunities available with packages starting at £24,995.

Discussing his latest franchise venture, White said:

“Bob was highly regarded within the lawn care industry and the TruGreen national franchise network and it’s an honour to be serving his customers. Alongside my wife, Rachel, we aim to build a successful operation, employing more local staff as the business develops.”

TruGreen operations brand manager, Steve Welch, added: “We are so pleased that Darren White has joined the TruGreen family and is committed to building the business that Bob and Anne started 10 years ago.

“The Andersons were passionate about changing tired-looking gardens into beautiful, attractive lawns and this reflects the ethos of White also.”
