Mac Tools set for a successful 2014 with four new franchisees
Latest recruits to extend tool distributor’s “thriving” franchise network
International tool distributor Mac Tools has announced that it has welcomed four new franchisees to its team this month.
Alan Myers Jow, Stephen Hindmarch, Daniel Briggs-Price and Andrew Goodall mark the latest additions to the mobile franchise and have already begun selling a range of tools and equipment to trade businesses within their UK territories.
Part of £7bn US organisation Stanley Black & Decker, Mac Tools supplies tools to car dealerships, automotive repair shops, manufacturers, and engineering companies, and it claims to have achieved 25% year-on-year growth over the last three years.
It has franchise packages available for £50,000 which incorporates the cost of the stock, its new business development programme based at its Sheffield HQ as well as continuous training.
New franchisees Stephen Hindmarch and Andrew Goodall discussed their decision to join Mac Tools. Hindmarch commented:
“I was feeling a bit dismayed with the role I was in previously and I wanted to work for myself and do something slightly different whilst still remaining in the motor trade; something I enjoy being part of. I looked around at a few options, including Mac Tools’ competitors, but I liked the whole set up and the way they run things at Mac.”
Goodall added: “I wanted to enable myself to grow as a person and to achieve a better family life. I wanted to run my own business and the training and support from Mac Tools has allowed me to do so under the support of a great team of people who know exactly what they are doing.”
