Mac Tools welcomes six new franchisees

The international tool supplier continues its rapid network expansion with new recruits covering multiple areas including Banbury and Lancashire

Global tool distributor Mac Tools has announced six new franchisees, Daren Emmons, Donna Billington, Gary Teasdale, John Buckley, Neil Brown and Germaine Ash; all of which have finished training and are about to begin operating in their local areas.

Mac Tools is part of US trade equipment company Stanley Black & Decker and has been dramatically increasing its franchise network in order to maintain its year-on-year growth of 20% in the last three years.

The international franchise hopes to continue expanding its UK network, with franchise packages available at an average cost of £50,000 (liquid capital £3,750), which includes specialised business and marketing training, on-going support and initial stock costs.

John Buckley, from the Lancashire area, commented on joining the franchise:

“I know the brand and I have plenty of hands-on experience in the workshop of just how good the products are. To be able to go out and represent the company that I’ve trusted in my work for so many years is just fantastic.”
