Mail Boxes Etc. adds services “to help franchisees stay ahead of competition”

Chain has introduced 'Auction Logistics' and 'OneDrop Click and Collect' to provide additional income streams for its nationwide franchise network

High street franchise chain Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) has launched two services in a move to give its franchisees more ways of attracting new customers and growing their businesses.

The services include Auction Logistics; which allows buyers to see upcoming sales listed, find an item and request a quote to have it delivered, and OneDrop Click and Collect; which enables people to have their internet shopping delivered to a single address to avoid missing deliveries.

MBE has said that the roll-out will help its franchisees remain ahead of the competition and remain profitable “despite fluctuations in the economy”.

Established in the UK in 1997, Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) offers a range of postal, logistics and print and copy services and has over 155 franchisees in the UK and Ireland. It has franchise packages available for a typical initial investment of £60,000 to £70,000.

Heather Hannant, head of franchise development, commented: “We’re extremely proud of the way we innovate our business to make sure our franchisees retain their position as industry leaders. In such a fast moving sector, it’s essential that we consistently review and change the way we operate and the services we provide.

“Many of our core services remain the same but, by adding new services, we make sure that our franchisees’ customers are provided with a one-stop-shop for everything they need.”
