Mail Boxes Etc. to deliver on expansion strategy with three new franchisees

Franchise chain claims to be one of the world's largest non-food retail franchise with over 150 outlets in the UK and Ireland

Logistics and postal retail franchise Mail Boxes Etc. has “scored a hat trick” this month with the addition of three new franchisees in the London area.

Imran Naveed, Ahmad Nawaz; a former Mail Boxes employee, and Louis Owens, will now run retail outlets in Stratford, Welwyn Garden City and Lewisham respectively.

Founded in 1980 in the US, the chain offers a range of business services for consumers and companies and claims to be one of the world’s largest non-food retail franchises with over 1,500 franchise stores in five continents – 150 of which are based in the UK and Ireland.

Offering multiple revenue streams, the franchise says it enables budding entrepreneurs  to benefit from the security of being involved with a recognised high street brand and has franchise opportunities available for an initial investment of around £60,000 to £70,000.

Outlining his new franchise venture, Mail Boxes’ Nawaz commented:“I was already working for Mail Boxes Etc. when I decided to become a franchisee. I knew that I had a lot of experience in the business and knew it would be an easy transition to become a franchisee.

When you become a franchisee you are given much more responsibility and you have to come up with your own solutions to problems rather than having someone tell you how to do things. My business is going well so far and there’s always someone on the end of the phone at head office if I ever need any help.”
