Manufacturing entrepreneur joins Business Doctors franchise

Harvey Gora has made transition from small business owner to small business adviser for UK consultancy chain

Small business consultancy franchise Business Doctors has expanded its team with the addition of new franchisee Harvey Gora; a former business owner who ran a clothing and pet accessories manufacturing company.

Gora, who ran his family business for over 10 years and is a qualified management accountant, is now a certified franchisee for the Wolverhampon and Walsall areas and will be working alongside other Business Doctors in the wider West Midlands area.

Launched in 2004 by Rod Davies and Matt Levington, Business Doctors is a national franchise network of business advisers who support small and medium-sized enterprises. It provides companies with advice on growth strategies, people management, finance and acquisitions.

The chain recently unveiled its new franchise package for 2015 which includes a discounted franchise fee of £35,000 and “enhanced” vacant territories so as to increase the number of potential enterprises within the area.

On his transition from small business owner to small business advisor, Gora commented:

“I saw the challenges faced by many of the small businesses and found myself sharing best practices and ideas across the industry. Yet, independents far surpassed the larger corporations in engaging with their customers and providing real added value. In a caring profession this is a must.”

“People want to be engaged with in a positive way and by small and medium firms supporting each other, we can transform that into commercial success.”
