How much of what you do could businesses do for themselves?

We encourage business to use new technologies such as cloud accountancy packages to automate and streamline routine processes. This helps reduce the cost of day to day compliance which means we can focus on helping to grow our client’s businesses by providing specific support and advice on both tax and business development issues.

With many years spent helping businesses to grow, we have significant experience and expertise and are able to help businesses maximise opportunities and avoid the pitfalls.

Give us three common problems/scenarios that your firm solves – and what you do:

  1. Creating a strong financial foundation to new and growing businesses
  2. Minimise tax making use of available tax reliefs such as R&D tax credits
  3. Providing clear and understandable support and advice which can be acted upon

Tell us about one of your clients and what you’ve done for them:

Back in 2009, we were approached by a business, PowerBody Nutrition, which had started selling sport nutritional supplements. We were asked to provide accountancy and tax compliance support as the business grew. In addition, we were asked to provide the company with advice on structure and provide senior management with quarterly financial information to help the owners grow the business in terms of market territory and size.

We have provided business consultancy to help the owners grow the business over the last eight years. The company is now a multi-million-pound turnover business and is one of the largest suppliers of online sports supplements in the UK. As the owners are non-UK nationals we were able to clarify and help them navigate the myriad of UK rules and red tape.

Are you expensive? Tell us more about your pricing structure:

We have flexible pricing plans payable by monthly direct debit. Unlike an increasing number of accountants that simply charge a fixed monthly fee without much consideration of what is actually needed, we work with new clients to build a bespoke package of services.

We are extremely flexible with clients opting in or our of services as required by need or cost.
