MVF receive major capital injection from Bridgepoint Development Capital

Online UK lead generation market estimated at $200m and has grown at an annual growth rate of 22% since 2008

Online customer acquisition and lead generation company MVF has secured a major investment of an undisclosed sum from Bridgepoint Development Capital for a 40% stake in the business.

Founded in 2009 by five friends in a basement, the London-based company finds and distributes high quality prospects for ambitious businesses. It uses proprietary technology, data driven analytics and in-house digital marketing. In five years the company has grown to more than 150 employees and operates in over 150 countries worldwide.

The finance will be used to facilitate accelerated growth, potential acquisitions and international expansion. The UK online lead generation market has an estimated worth of $200m and has seen a growth rate of around 22% since 2008. Additionally, the global digital advertising market is worth around $146bn and is expected to grow at 15% per year to 2018, taking the sector’s share of total advertising spend from 26% currently to 36% by 2018.

It is thought the rapid growth of alternative advertising platforms such as mobile and social media has driven the growth of the market.

The company highlights its employment criteria of only recruiting people with the necessary language skills and cultural knowledge to sustain its growth as key to its success.
