New franchise opportunity targets animal enthusiasts

Veterinary Thermal Imaging franchisees offered training, PR and career development

A unique new franchise opportunity is targeting professionals with a background in animal science, physiotherapy, veterinary nursing and similar professions. The sophisticated proposition from Veterinary Thermal Imaging (VTI) trains franchisees to become thermographers – a service they can offer to vets, para-professionals, animal owners and farmers, to help identify arthritis and other conditions in animals. The £14,000 franchisee package also includes training in business management and sales, PR support, and access to a centralised call centre – as well as continued professional development opportunities. The company, which started trading in 2010, already has eight qualified thermographers working across the UK, with each new franchisee assigned their own exclusive territory and FLIR camera (worth £9,000). VTI’s Helen Morrell said: “To run a successful VTI franchise, our thermographers combine professional experience with superb people skills, attention to detail, drive, and a passion for animal welfare. These are exactly the kind of people that we are looking for. “We can help with raising finance and provide ongoing support. Additionally, as all thermographers handle their own workload, the potential income really depends on them. We fully support flexible and part-time working.”
