New opportunity for community-focused franchisees

Pistachios in the park seeks budding café owners

Budding entrepreneurs with a focus on families are being invited to open cafés in their local parks and green spaces.

Community-focused catering franchise Pistachios in the park is looking for franchise owners to expand the business into new territories.

Following the opening of its first café in 2000, in Lewisham’s Manor House Gardens, the surrounding park was transformed into a safer, more family-orientated space – prompting the founders to franchise their idea in 2010.

The founders, who have never previously expanded their concept beyond London, will consider applications from all corners of their UK.

Prospective franchise owners are not required to have prior catering experience and will be provided with full training. However, candidates are expected to be entrepreneurial, have good people skills and enjoy working with children.
