The online marketplace has re-launched its Pitch Up initiative which gives businesses the chance to pitch to join the site as a seller
Curated marketplace Notonthehighstreet.com is on the hunt to find the best new creative businesses with the re-launch of its Pitch Up initiative which gives start-ups the chance to showcase their products in the hope of joining the site as a seller.
Coming to Leicester on Friday 30 September and Richmond, London on Saturday 8 October, the initiative will give small businesses the chance to pitch their business to the Notonthehighstreet executives and receive free advice to assist with the development of products.
This year’s Pitch Up event will look to follow in the success of the 2015 competition: 93 of notonthehighstreet.com’s current sellers were discovered through previous Pitch Up events held in London.
Simon Belsham, CEO of notonthehighstreet.com, commented: “Pitch Up has proven to be a great initiative to find and nurture new creative talent. […] Over the last year, 17 of our partners (sellers) sold over a £1m with us and I’m hopeful that we’ll find the next million pound partner.”
