Ochresoft receives £600,000 funding package

Ochresoft Technologies, which provides conveyancing workflow software to the legal industry, has received £600,000 of investment.

The Swindon-based company, founded in 2003, has secured the funding from its existing shareholders including the YFM Group, which originally invested in the Ochresoft in September 2005.

The company will use the funds to support the growth of the business and to develop its main product Intelliworks, an internet-based workflow software package.

Currently, the software can be used for sales, purchases and remortgages, however Ochresoft wishes to develop it so that it can also be used for wills, probate, accounts and family law.

“We have developed a market leading workflow framework that is can deliver our risk managed legal applications very cost effectively, so that the firm can hit the ground running” said chief executive Clive McCafferty.

“We believe that future Government changes coupled with increased competition in the market is forcing law firms to adopt case management technology.

“This is effectively opening up a market segment in the legal technology market that didn’t exist two years ago and only Ochresoft are poised to exploit it.”
