Papa John’s adds new UK site to its expanding franchise portfolio

Existing franchisee Manzoor Hussain marks next stage of growth with second Norwich outlet

Global pizza chain Papa John’s has extended its market reach with the addition of a new Norwich outlet.

Officially launched in late August by existing franchisee Manzoor Hussain and his brother, the new store has already hired ten employees and there is a recruitment drive underway to increase headcount.

The opening is one of multiple pizza outlets for Hussain who runs an additional Norwich site and an outlet in Maidenhead.

Multiple franchise outlet owners are encouraged by Papa John’s as it looks to expand its offering with opportunities across the UK for potential franchisees to develop its network.

Offering sites at a cost of £177,000 to £225,000, the pizza chain is particularly seeking franchisees in Yorkshire, Manchester, West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, North East, Wales and Scotland.

Discussing his plans for the future, Hussain commented:

“I plan to open at least two more [Papa John’s outlets] in the coming year, bringing in more family members to help me.  I am already in discussions with head office to find the right locations.”
