Papa John’s celebrates success of incentive scheme with seven new franchisees

20 new UK store openings planned for the pizza chain

Leading pizza franchise Papa John’s has today announced that seven new franchisees have joined its network as a result of its $2m franchise incentive scheme which launched earlier this year.

The initiative, which officially began in February, offers franchisees who open a store this year reduced site fees and an oven and point of sale system valued at £30,000, plus a £10,000 marketing package, in the aim to boost the chains existing franchise network.

The new franchisees are set to open 20 outlets across the North of England and the Midlands over the next six months.

The announcement follows the pizza franchise’s ambitious growth strategy to have 600 stores across the UK over the next ten years.

Discussing its plans for the future, Anthony Round, business development manager of Papa John’s, said:

“The scheme has been particularly well received and represents an exciting opportunity to join a leading franchise brand.

“We are looking forward to launching further ‘tasty’ incentives for franchisees looking to open outlets in 2014 and we will be actively encouraging ambitious individuals who are interested in becoming multiple store operators.”
