Papa John’s expands reach in Northamptonshire with new franchisee

Surinder Manesh latest recruit to take up pizza chain’s 2014 franchise incentive scheme

Pizza chain Papa John’s has extended its UK franchise network with the addition of new franchisee Surinder Manesh.

Having officially opened his Papa John’s store in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire on Monday, Manesh has already employed around 20 staff and claims to have had a “great response from the local community”.

Manesh is the latest entrepreneur to capitalise upon the pizza franchise’s current incentive scheme which offers franchisees with new store openings in Wales, the Midlands, North East, North West, and Scotland, a royalty break of up to £50,000 if they join before the end of 2014.

This initiative also includes discounted supply deals on equipment and marketing spend for the store launch.

Established in 1984, Papa John’s is one of the world’s biggest pizza brands with 4,450 outlets in 36 countries globally. It has opportunities for prospective franchisees across the UK with packages starting at £175,000.

Papa John’s latest franchisee, Manesh, commented: “I have always loved the Papa John’s product and decided that one day, I would like my own Papa John’s.

“The company’s training has been excellent and the head office staff have been supportive to help get the Wellingborough Papa John’s up and running.

“I am very much looking forward to continuing to build on our initial success by growing our customer base over the coming months and years.”
