Papa John’s franchisee acquires four additional UK outlets

Tony Singh takes franchise total to 14 as part of aggressive growth plan

Tony Singh, serial franchisee for one of the world’s largest pizza chains, Papa John’s, has announced the acquisition of four UK outlets.

Singh, who joined the pizza brand in 2002 after working as a delivery driver for a rival pizza company, has taken over three stores in the Milton Keynes area and a store in Colchester, Essex.

The additions mark a total of 14 outlets that Singh now runs across the South East as part of his ‘mission’ to develop the chain’s franchise network.

Founded in 1984, Papa John’s has over 200 stores in the UK with franchise opportunities available from £175,00 to £225,000 across its key sites of Yorkshire, Manchester, West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, North East, Wales and Scotland.

Business development manager for Papa John’s, Anthony Round, commented: “Tony is one of our most capable and successful franchisees and after eleven years he is still hungry for success.

“One way to capitalise on the potential of running a Papa John’s franchise is to manage multiple franchised stores.

“Tony has been quick to appreciate this and has plans to expand through further store acquisition in the future.”
