Papa John’s franchisee capitalises on 2015 incentive scheme with fourth store
Pizza chain’s Steve Mullarkey plans to open three additional outlets by the end of 2015 using discounts on equipment, marketing and fees
Papa John’s has said it has “the ingredients for franchise success” on the back of the news that its existing franchisee Steve Mullarkey has opened his fourth store in Prestwich.
Mullarkey, who joined the chain in 2013, already runs outlets in Chester, Preston, Warrington with over 100 full and part-time staff employed.
His latest opening has been facilitated by the pizza franchise’s 2015 incentive scheme which offers discounted royalty fees, marketing spend and free equipment for news stores opened in the Midlands, Wales, the North West, North East and Scotland.
Following Mullarkey’s recent achievements, the pizza chain is seeking other entrepreneurs to take its up franchise initiative and join its network with opportunities available UK-wide.
Commenting on his franchise experience, Mullarkey said: “So far, the aspect of the franchise that has impressed me the most has been the number of repeat customers we have been seeing. Each store was busy from day one and the quality of our pizza gets very positive feedback.”
On his plans for the future, Mullarkey added: “I can look forward to opening three further Papa John’s before the end of 2015!”
