Papa John’s recruits new manager to boost franchisees

Business development manager Anthony Round to support ambitious growth drive

Pizza chain Papa John’s has taken on Anthony Round as its new business development manager, in an effort to encourage franchise growth.

Round, who has 20 years of experience in franchises including Dominos and Pizza Hut, will be responsible for supporting new franchisees to build their business, as well as helping existing franchisees to expand their territory ownership.

With 200 Papa John’s stores currently in operation in the UK, it is hoped that Round will support the pizza chain’s ambition to reach 500 UK stores over the next few years.

Offering sites at a cost of £177,000 to £225,000, Papa John’s is looking to sell franchise sites across the UK, with key territories available in Yorkshire, Manchester, West Midlands, East Midlands, South West, North East, Wales and Scotland. 

Round commented on his new responsibility: “I am very much looking forward to working closely with new and existing franchisees.

“My experience means I will be well placed to support franchisees to help them start up and grow their individual franchises.”
