Airbnb management firm Pass the Keys lands £350,000 seed funding

Funding will be used to invest in technological development, customer service and market expansion

Pass the Keys, the London-based Airbnb management firm, has raised £350,000 in seed funding from Talis Capital.

Founded by Alexander Lyakhotskiy and Zoe Vu, Pass the Keys takes care of administrative tasks for Airbnb hosts and helps them increase their income through market insights and efficiency.

The company was recently accepted into the London Business School incubator programme, which will provide expert guidance as it continues to grow.

Having recently moved its offices from Old Street to TechHub in Moorgate, the finance will be invested in technological development, customer service and market expansion.

The start-up is one of a number that have sprung up in the last few years to help Airbnb hosts manage their listing and cope with admin, including Startups 100-listed Hostmaker and YourWelcome – which secured £400,000 in March.

Lyakhotskiy said: “We are very excited about the backing from Talis Capital. These new funds will allow us to continue our disruption of the London housing market and help us further improve the service we provide to our clients, as well as accommodating the increasing demand.”

Vasile Foca, co-founder and managing partner of Talis Capital, commented:

“Alexander and his team have created a truly differentiated offering in Pass the Keys in what is such a fragmented market, and we are very excited to begin our journey with them.”
