Professional tailoring franchise Suit the City expands offering

Chain has added ‘Coco Chanel’-inspired suit in response to growing female professional market and expects franchisees to experience “halo” effect

Suit the City has announced plans to expand its women’s clothing category with a new dress and jacket suit, and predicts that its franchisees will witness renewed growth as a result.

The tailoring and style consulting franchise, which specialises in made-to-measure clothing for professionals, recently expanded its service and training to cater to the professional women’s market and has reported instant positive feedback from customers.

Its director, Carol Rawson, has said that this addition will have a positive effect on its franchisees with a “halo effect” – bias shown by customers towards certain brands due to a favourable experience made by the core group – which could result in an increase in sales.

Suit the City is looking to increase its franchise network and has opportunities available throughout the UK with investment costs starting at £19,950 plus VAT, with potential earnings exceeding over £50,000 a year.

Prospective franchisees do not need to have a background in tailoring; the franchise provides full training as well as business, marketing and product support.
