2. Rabobank

Europe’s 25 Corporate Startup Stars winner demonstrates an innovative methodology to future-proofing its business through start-up collaboration

Inquisitive and open-minded, the Dutch banking and financial services organisation Rabobank is future-proofing its business by tapping into talented start-ups.

Offering a full spectrum of imaginative initiatives – including Fintech Hackathons and partnerships with accelerators such as Startupbootcamp and Rockstart – it places collaboration at the heart of its growth strategy.

Rabobank’s integrated approach to investments, acquisitions and partnerships is highly strategic, enabling them to create mutually beneficial relationships with start-ups using innovative methodology – something that is unusual in the banking sector.

A good example is MyOrder, a mobile commerce platform, which has helped add value to Rabobank’s new Rabo Wallet proposition.
