Children’s sports franchise Ready Steady Go Kids has enhanced its prominence in the  Surrey area with the addition of its third UK franchisee; Audra Ferreira.

Having previously coached sports to children at an international school, former midwife Ferreira will be operating in the Chessington, Leatherhead and Elmbridge areas and says she joined the sports brand to “bring activity into children’s everyday lives”.

Launched in 2013 by husband and wife-team Kathy and Matt Bees following success in Australia, Ready Steady Go Kids specialises in multi-sport and exercice programmes for children aged two to seven with a goal to help tackle childhood obesity, increase confidence and prepare children for participation in school and the community.

It claims to offer a low-cost franchise opportunity with fees of between £8,000 to £12,000 which includes specially developed sports equipment, full training and accreditation, marketing and administrative support.

While the chain is scaling quickly in London and the South East, it has plans to expand across the UK over the next three years.

On becoming a franchisee for the chain, Ferreira commented: “I am so impressed by the whole Ready Steady Go Kids ethos, and the training and support I’ve had to get started have been second to none.”

Ready Steady Go Kids’ Bees added:

“We want to make sports accessible to all, whether in nurseries, schools, playgroups, early learning centres or community Sure Start centres, and we’re looking for like-minded people to join us.”
