Ready Steady Go Kids kicks off franchise with Surrey launch

Children’s multi-sports chain is rolling out opportunities in the UK following success in Australia

Australian-based franchise Ready Steady Go Kids has launched in the UK with the opening of its first territory across the Surrey towns of Staines, Ashford and Shepperton.

Said to be Australia’s largest multi-sport programme for children aged two to seven years-old, the chain currently offers a package of 10 sports including rugby, cricket, football, and basketball and “aims to put the fun into sport”.

Designed in conjunction with expert physiotherapists, the classes look to help develop a child’s motor skills and co-ordination.

New franchisee Victoria Grainger will be heading up the new Surrey territory, having given up her job as a teacher and said shee will get “huge satisfaction in seeing kids develop in both confidence and their physical abilities”.

Ready Steady Go Kids UK director, Kathy Bees, said of the franchise opportunity:

“Ready Steady Go Kids allows children an element of free play within a structured environment. They genuinely feel like they’re having fun while learning vital multi-skills.”
