Regus Express opens for business at Heathrow Terminal 5

New facility to offer meeting rooms, co-working space and printing and copying facilities within airport

Global workspace provider Regus today announced the opening of a new Regus Express facility in Heathrow Terminal 5, set to allow travellers to access a range of business services on the move.

Located in the arrivals section of London’s busiest airport, Regus claimed the Express facility represents Heathrow’s first ever dedicated business lounge, offering co-working space,  “high-specification” private meeting rooms, Wi-Fi, and cloud-based printing and copying facilities.

The facility will also offer private enclosed workstations, entitled “Thinkpods”, similar to the ones set to be installed at Gatwick airport.

Regus said feedback from the airport’s retailers, airlines and external business pointed to particularly high demand for its meeting rooms, which will be bookable by the hour and available in a range of sizes.

Pay-as-you-go access to the Regus Express Centre is priced at £8 per hour or £40 per day, with monthly access to its UK-wide network of 300 business lounges priced at £35 per month.

Stephen Wilkinson, property director at Heathrow Airport, said: “We are delighted to announce that Regus Express at Terminal 5 is open, offering retailers, businesses and mobile workers a professional environment for working or meeting.”

Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place, added: “This is the first Regus Express location at a UK airport, and we envisage it becoming a popular touch-down point and meeting venue for a wide variety of users, not just airport passengers.

“We are working with various partners to extend the Regus Express network so that people can work productively wherever they are, from train stations, motorway service areas and petrol stations to shopping centres and universities.”
