Regus opens latest ‘Express’ mobile business centre at Clacket Lane M25

South East expansion to give flexible workers increased access to office space and business facilities

International workspace provider Regus has announced the latest addition to its ‘Regus Express’ network with a new mobile centre opening on the M25 Clacket Lane services in Kent.

Marking its second business centre on the M25, the new mobile work hub offers flexible workers access to co-working space, private workstations, meeting rooms and facilities such as cloud-based printing.

Launched today at Roadchef’s Clacket motorway services, Regus intends for the centre to provide a solid base and “productive environment” for those who need access to business facilities or a touch-down point for a meeting.

The launch forms part of Regus’ strategy to capitalise upon the “rising demand” for flexible office space and services in the UK.

In the last year, the workspace provider has opened similar business centres in commuter belt areas of Leigh Delamere, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and a sister-M25 centre in Cobham, Surrey, which it launched in partnership with Extra Motorway Service Area Group.

It intends for the Clacket Lane opening to build upon the success of its Cobham services which it says has become a popular co-working venue for a variety of business people, including South East chairman elect of the Liberal Democrats, Paul Hienkens.

Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place discussed the launch: “We are excited to open our latest centre at Clacket Lane, especially because Kent and Surrey are such key areas for business in the South East.

“We already have a strong network of locations in the area but this gives another option to [our] members who drive to London on business or who live and work locally.

“Simply put, Regus Express is designed to make business easier for people working on the move, offering choice, convenience and productive work environments.”
