Regus opens mobile office space at stationery stores
Mobile workers offered business hubs at Staples stores from £5 per day
Building on its rail and roadways expansion of business lounges, flexible workplace provider Regus has announced plans to introduce workplace hubs to the stores of stationery chain Staples.
The partnership is set to launch with a pilot scheme, which will see Staples UK and Regus trialling the system at stores in Swindon, Reading, Birmingham and Sheffield.
Available from £5 per day, customers stocking up on supplies can access the hubs by purchasing a Regus Business world card or a pass, which is available at both Staples stores and on Regus’ website.
With 160 centres across the UK and over 1,000 worldwide, Regus is positioning itself as a solution provider for commuters by offering a variety of bases.
The new partnership with Staples UK follows the launch of Regus mobile office spaces at motorway service stations in the South East, developed in partnership with Extra Motorway Service Area Group.
Steve Purdy, UK Managing Director at Regus commented: “Two fifths of Britain’s workers now work half the week or more at locations other than their employer’s main office.
“Mobiles, tablets and cloud technology make this possible, but workers still need access to office-type facilities.
