Regus opens Wakefield co-workspace to cater for local entrepreneurs

New city centre site features a drop in business lounge, over 80 workstations, meeting rooms and office facilities

Global workspace provider Regus has announced the opening of its first business centre in the West Yorkshire city of Wakefield.

Located in the city centre and close to a number of transport links, the space features over 80 workstations, meeting rooms, a drop in business lounge and office space.

Regus believes the site will cater to local small business owners, remote workers and national firms looking to open satellite offices in the area.

Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus, commented: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of our first Wakefield location which will cater to the growing demand amongst the city’s professionals for more flexible, cost-effective workspace.

“The city of Wakefield is undergoing immense regeneration and is a prime spot for businesses looking for a well-connected, ‘up and coming’ location, so it’s only right that it features in our UK expansion plans.”
